Performance by Utah Festival Opera

When linguistics professor Henry Higgins meets disheveled Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle outside Covent Garden, he wagers his colleague that within six months he can change Eliza into a proper lady who can pass in high society simply by teaching her to speak proper English. “It’s almost irresistible,” he says. “She’s so deliciously low. So horribly dirty.” But both professor and pupil begin a transformation that neither of them could have anticipated. Gloriously witty, wise, and winning, My Fair Lady features your favorite songs, “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “On the Street Where You Live,” “The Rain in Spain,” and “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.” My Fair Lady has been called “the perfect musical” (New York Times).
